Unlocking networks

What needed doing

Unlocking Networks is a hub for social movement-makers, community managers and local group leaders around the country to improve and learn from each other. It is a joint project run by The Social Change Agency and Shared Assets, and funded by Power to Change.

We needed to help Unlocking Networks distill the learning from the 18-month project into something that would live on and help others.

How we did this

We interviewed leaders of networks on camera and in audio format, helping them to communicate their experiences and their learning. We took lots of photos of some of their great events and workshops too.

Their insights – from creating social network maps to building sustainable networks – are captured online in an accessible, easily digestible way.

What happened

Peer learning – sharing skills, experience and knowledge – helps others unlock the power of networks. Unlocking Networks is now a fascinating, engaging repository that will be useful for years to come.
