Websites
Our website projects put content firstWe build websites and digital tools, working with brilliant web developers and designers in an agile and collaborative way.
All website projects should start with content strategy. Not putting enough emphasis on the content is asking for trouble.
Our expertise in user experience (UX) and content strategy ensures that our web projects are both effective for you and useful for your audience.
Every website project is different but these elements are ones we almost always use:
Proto-content, exemplar content
Designing using lorem ipsum text (even hipster ipsum text) is fraught with risks. Creating proto-content or exemplar content, and designing and building around that, ensures that the different elements of website projects align.
Wireframing
Taking into consideration the strategy and the user needs, we produce wireframes (sketched outline layouts) that form the UX basis for the final designs.
Strategy and oversight
We oversee and manage website projects, getting everyone aligned behind core principles, setting the strategic direction, and making sure that the project stays true to its content strategy.
How can we help?
Whatever website project you have up your digital sleeve, we’re pretty sure that a content-led approach will improve your life, save you time and money, and make you more effective and generally happier.
Some website projects we’ve done
Pack
We needed to explain how Pack works and to get people to sign up. Clarity was vital, and we needed to hit exactly the right note.
30 things to think about
We needed to kickstart debate and conversations about the future of the charity sector, without a lanyard in sight.
The Fundraising Regulator
We needed to shape the Fundraising Regulator user experience and new website so that people can find what they’re looking for quickly and intuitively.
